Google Alert Creator – Auto Create Google Alerts with Keyword List

In leui of an API for Google Alerts I’ve create a ubot bot that can take a keyword list and auto-create Google Alerts from it?

Why?

I use this tool to help turn keyword lists into Google Alerts so I can better monitor and monetize my industry. An example would be tracking forum discussions containing keywords like [wordpress]+[rss automation] so I can be a first responder when a thread gets indexed.

How it Works

Take a keyword list, pop it in the settings area, select what kind of platforms and content you want to target (I usually target Discussions) and press run and it will cycle through create an email alert for each keyphrase.

Then if your like me you can have your mail client auto-sort alerts into a separate folder so they don’t crowd your inbox or distract your flow of business and whenever there’s some free time during the day, head in there and see if there’s any new threads that would welcome your voice.

The same strategy would work for promoting 3rd party offers as an affiliate.

It’s also proven to be a good link building strategy.

The Bot In Action

How to have it yourself,

It’s my policy to monetize,  but I try never put too great a worth on anything. The barrier to downloading this script is $10.00 dollars.

It should also be said that if you are not a current customer of other product of mine (WP Traffic Tools, BlogSenseWp), buying this product will gain you entrance into the Hatnohat Private community, as with any of my other products too. It’s a pretty decent place in there!

Feel free to leave comments and feedback here on this posts. Cheers and enjoy!
